Surplus Property/Computer Assistant

Duties include working with computers and electronics. This includes, but is not limited to-testing, troubleshooting, repairing and installing of hardware. Major/background in computers/electronics is preferred but not required. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Must have a valid drivers license/insurance. Must be able to work independently as well as with others. Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Looking for reliable students who can provide around 12-29 hours per week and can work during the summer.

All University of Akron student employees must meet the designated minimum standards as stated on the Student Employment Eligibility Chart. UA student employees must be 18 years or older at the time of their start date. Any approved remote work conducted by student employees MUST be performed within the state of Ohio.
