Graduate Engineer 1 - Baxter Construction Department

• Under immediate supervision, to assist in providing supervision and technical support to contract administration personnel on bridge and highway construction projects.
• Assist in reviewing and approving contractor’s work so that supplemental agreements, change orders, work orders and project payments are processed on time and the project is not delayed. 
• Assist in negotiating any necessary contract changes so that supplemental agreements, change orders, work orders and project payments are processed on time and the project is not delayed.
• Exercise supervisory authority so that applicable labor agreements and plans are equitably administered and employees will effectively perform assigned job duties to ensure work is in conformance with specifications, plans, and special provisions; all materials incorporated into the work have been tested and accepted by the proper authority; and all project documentation is complete, accurate and in accordance with standards.
