Job Title: Java Full Stack Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC/ West Des Moines IA

Duration: 12+ months (high possibilities of extension/conversion)

 

Description:

Quintrix is seeking engineers eager to advance their careers in Java full stack software development with a prestigious client in banking and financial services. This opportunity includes a comprehensive 4-week online pre-employment training program (15 hours per week), conveniently scheduled after business hours. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a $500 stipend. This is a fantastic chance to gain in-demand skills, hands-on experience, and a pathway into a dynamic tech role.

 

Required

• 0.5- 2 years of Java development experience – SW Engineering Skills

• 0.5 - 2 years of Spring boot based application development experience.

• Exposure to Agile Development methodologies – Routines on a daily basis, weekly basis, monthly basis.  Industry standard.

• Tomcat application server experience

 

Desired

• Angular or related UI Framework experience

• MongoDB or related NoSQL database experience

• Exposure with Python and emerging AI/ML skills

• Oracle database experience

• Kafka or related Data Streaming technology experience

• Cloud certification from any cloud providers

• Cloud native Microservices development experience based on Event Driven Architecture experience

• Experience with Domain Driven Design principles.

• Experience with application non-functional requirements including Monitoring (APM tools), Logging (Splunk), Distributed tracing.

 

Big Bonus – any work in AI space.  Generate code using Copilot. Prompt Engineering.  Even a college program.

 

Prerequisite:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in Java full stack development.
  • Experience with Java, Springboot, and Unit Test case development. 
  • Cloud native application development experience (one of TAS - Tanzu Application Service, Azure, GCP, and AWS). 
  • Angular or related UI Framework experience
  • Oracle and MongoDB or related NoSQL database experience
  • Kafka or related Data Streaming technology experience
  • Tomcat application server experience
  • Cloud native Microservices development experience based on Event Driven Architecture experience
  • Domain Driven Design principles.
  • Agile Development methodologies
  • App non-functional requirements including Monitoring (APM tools), Logging (Splunk), Distributed tracing.
  • Experience with Monolith to Microservices decomposing experience
  • Experience with Developing Automated functional testing using the BDD tech.
  • 3.0 GPA or higher. 
  • Candidates should be willing to relocate to the mentioned locations.

 

Selection Process 

1. Technical interview by Quintrix and online assessment

2. Client Interview 

 

Training 

  • 4 weeks of Java full stack pre-employment training during onboarding
  • Stipend - $500
