Responsibilities and Duties
Person in this position will be responsible for the delivery of clinical substance abuse treatment to clients participating in the program.
- Complete assessment of each client
- Initiate and sustain each individual’s motivation to participate in treatment
- Develop a comprehensive service plan for each client
- Provide daily treatment and curriculum-based education groups
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree is preferred, high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Must have CADC (or LPC or LSW) or obtain within two years of hire
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system preferred
- Must possess strong computer skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Adherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct
- Ability to obtain and maintain clearance from Illinois Department of Corrections
