Associate Consultant

Appian's Customer Success team is committed to achieving great customer outcomes. Joining the Customer Success team will provide you with the support and growth you need to strengthen and evolve your skills within the consulting field.

As an Appian Associate Consultant, you’ll build and deploy web-based applications using the Appian platform to support our customers’ business needs. You’ll become an expert on our software - From implementing the first business process management application to scaling up the program across the enterprise, you will bring our process automation platform to life for our external clients.

This role is based at our ​headquarters in ​McLean, Virginia. Appian was built on a culture of in-person collaboration, which we believe is a key driver of our mission to be the best. To be successful in this role, you need:

  • The ability to leverage experience in a range of critical process improvement disciplines, including business process management, knowledge management, personalization, business intelligence, and application integration
  • The skill set and experience to construct, implement, and deploy process-centric business process management solutions using the Appian platform
  • The ability to analyze a client’s business strategy and processes, to then develop technical solutions to support them
  • The desire to use a design thinking approach for prototyping and modeling business processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A solid foundation of, or passion for, technology

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Math, or equivalent background
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL server, etc.) and cloud technologies preferred
