Financial Operations Intern

Position Overview

The operation internship is a great opportunity for a student to learn through experience about the many aspects of an innovative investment firm’s operations and the finance industry in general. This role provides exposure to the finance industry while allowing interns to develop skills in automation, AI tools, and process optimization.  Working closely with the Operations Manager and key operational staff, interns will contribute to projects that enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.  

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AI tools, automation platforms, and financial software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in automating financial workflows through AI-driven solutions and process improvement tools.
  • Analyze existing financial operations and suggest AI-driven optimizations for system enhancements.
  • Work with data analytics and AI models to improve financial reporting and decision-making.
  • Design and execute projects from concept to implementation to improve the firm’s operational efficiencies.
  • Support day-to-day operations and contribute to ongoing business initiatives.

Qualifications:

Candidates of various background and experience will be considered. We prefer candidates who possess the following:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proven ability to quickly learn new processes and workflows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of reliability.
  • A strong work ethic, professional drive, and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience in programming
