Legal Administrative Intern - Litigation

Miller Johnson, one of Michigan's largest full-service law firms, is seeking a full-time summer Administrative Intern for our Litigation practice group. This position is primarily based in our downtown Grand Rapids office, but we are also considering applications for our Kalamazoo and Detroit offices.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to one of Michigan’s largest growing law firms. Responsibilities:

  • Assists with projects and tasks for Legal Administrative Assistants.
  • Prepares engagement letters and opens new client matters.
  • Scans and files documents accurately in both electronic and physical formats.
  • Assists with drafting legal documents, such as summons.
  • Performs other clerical duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a legal studies program or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
