Business Development Representative
Mihlfeld & Associates, Inc. is seeking a driven individual for the Business Development Representative (BDR) role, focused on making outbound calls and setting qualified appointments for our Client Services Team. As part of our inside sales team, your primary goal will be to engage prospects, many of whom may be unfamiliar with our services, and spark their interest enough to schedule a meeting. This is a key role in our aggressive growth strategy, and we’re looking for motivated individuals to help drive the company’s success. The position requires using the phone, computer, and various software tools. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with a 40-hour work week, and no travel. Successful candidates who are consistently hitting their weekly goals will earn weekly paid time off and maximize their pay.
Key Responsibilities
• Study, practice, and apply company pitches by engaging in training and confidently using the approved introductory pitch process along with the structured conversation and objection pathways.
• High-Volume Outbound Calls: software/ai enabled highly efficient, low admin, high volume calling.
• 5 hours minimum of dial time per day required, 25 hours per week, can and is often completed in less than 8 hours in day – daily dial time bonus is calculated each day to equal total pay of 8 hours per day of hourly pay. This is consistently achieved every week!
• Set Qualified Meetings: ability to earn weekly time off – as soon as you achieve your weekly goal you are finished for the week – weekly goal attainment bonus is calculated to equal total pay of 40 hours per week of hourly pay.
• Engage with Key Contacts: Focus on scheduling meetings with senior-level decision-makers, including:
• VP of Finance, Directors of Finance, Controllers, VP of Operations, General Managers, etc.
• Manage Meeting Logistics: Ensure meetings are properly scheduled, avoiding double-booking, and ensuring sufficient time between appointments for transitions.
• Confirm Appointments: Proactively confirm meetings 48-72 hours in advance to ensure all parties are aligned and prepared.
• Accurate Data Management: Enter and maintain accurate information, including dispositions and notes, into HubSpot to track progress and ensure consistency in follow-up.
• Ongoing Learning: Accept feedback from coaching sessions to continuously improve performance and achieve targets.
• Coordinate Meeting Invitations: Send out introductory meeting invitations on behalf of our Client Services Teams and prospects, ensuring clear communication and seamless scheduling.

• Compensation: Total annual compensation range for BDR achieving goals is $60,000 to $78,000
Hourly, non-exempt position with starting pay of $20.20 per hour
• Bonuses for Meetings – A simple structure to reward your goal achievement:
• The first 5 meetings are paid at $75 or $100, depending on the level of contact for the appointment.
• Any additional meetings beyond 5 are paid at $100 or $125, depending on the level of contact for the appointment.
• Minimum of 5 hours of calling time required per day, equating to 25 hours per week.
• Achieve your weekly goals and earn paid time off—once your goal is met, you're done for the week! A weekly goal attainment bonus ensures your total pay equals 40 hours of hourly wages.
