Marketing Analytics Intern
General Description: The Marketing Analytics Intern assists the team in the development of KPI’s and marketing performance insights supporting the organization’s sales and customer goals. This unique opportunity provides a behind-the-scenes view on applied advanced analytics and machine learning within an online retail sales organization.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for ‘ad-hoc’ and scheduled requests for marketing KPI’s
- Learn and create customer segments within the marketing automation platform
- Support updating monthly executive reports tracking company performance
- Learn SQL, R, Python and machine learning techniques
- Analyze customer and sales transaction data; unlocking insights for business stakeholders
- Develop analytical story dashboards within Power BI
- Support strategic projects through the lens of data analysis
- Attend executive meetings to enhance skills and business acumen
- Onsite attendance two days per week is an essential function of this position
- Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Actively enrolled or recent alumni from a fully accredited College/ University
- In good academic standing with concentration in Data Science, Data Insights, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar program
- Disciplined individual with solid organizational skills
- Interested in gaining knowledge of SQL, R or Python Programming and ability to work within large Datasets
- Highly motivated with strong analytical ability and interest.
- Working knowledge of MS Office solutions a Plus
