Writing Communications Intern

The Opportunity:

Join a growing team dedicated to development and management of energy infrastructure, community economic development, corporate social responsibility, safeguarding environmental resources, and sharing in the growth of a highly ethical, competitive, and privately held enterprise.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in creating content for our internal newsletter, website(s), social media, and other platforms.

- Conduct research on industry-related topics to develop informative and compelling articles.

- Collaborate with the communications team and other internal subject matter experts to brainstorm and develop content ideas.

- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

- Help manage and update content calendars.

- Update executive bios

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to content strategy discussions.

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

- Excellent research abilities and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and LinkedIn.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Creative mindset and a passion for storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in writing or content creation (internships, freelance work, etc.).

- Knowledge of SEO best practices.

- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
