Counselor's Assistant

Family First Adolescent Services is a residential adolescent treatment program for males 12-18 years old. Clients come to us struggling with mental health, school refusal, substance use, family conflicts, etc. We are a therapeutic program geared towards addressing complex trauma. 

Family First Adolescent Services (FFAS) is seeking a Counselor's Assistant (CA) also known as Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Duties include: Escorting clients to/from various appointments and sessions, assisting with activities and engaging with clients as they progress through their recovery, assisting counselors and therapeutic team, documenting relevant information regarding the client’s activities, meeting with clients to support their recovery / mental health journey, engaging in experiential therapy with clients, supporting clients through emotional / behavioral dysregulation.
