Summer Intern Marketing - NJ Career Accelerator Internship Grant Pgm

This is a NJ Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program (CAIGP)  Position

Responsibilities / Projects

Working with the Owner and clinic technician, we expect the Intern will work on the following activities but will finalize the projects, completion timeframes and performance metrics once the person is hired:

• Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of the current marketing campaigns on the various platforms currently in use; social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), google ads, bulk mail, targeted email and cold calling. Make recommendations for improvements in content, target market segmentation and reaching specific demographics.
• Conduct telephone cold calls and follow-up sales calls.  Possibly attend in-person sales pitch appointments with the owner to determine if our campaigns are working or what revisions will improve the results.
• Draft email templates and campaigns that are based on the results of the evaluation
• Assist with a competitive pricing analysis for our standard products
• Review and assist in developing and enhancing pitch decks by customer segment
• Assist in developing a marketing plan for the remainder of the year with target measures for success
• Assist in drafting procedures for generating new and creating follow-ups for sales leads by customer segment

The Intern will receive training in our products, services, and procedures and in the software that we use for drug testing and for marketing/sales (ZoomInfo, HubStop).  The intern should be very familiar with the social media platforms, Microsoft software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Knowledge of ChatGPT or other AI programs is a plus but not required.
