Come join our Internship Program! Lauth Investigations International, Inc. is looking for a Legal Assistant  Intern. The Legal Assistant Intern will assist with supporting the current Return Assets Division with our  existing day-to-day duties, claim correspondence, and claim status. 

Interested candidates are in or near Boulder, Colorado, as this requires the intern to work out of the  Boulder Office.  

Internship starts in the beginning of Summer at 2025 (May 2025), 15 hours per week throughout the 8- 10 weeks internship. Lauth Investigations realizes that candidates may have additional school and job  constraints; we will work with the student. Our office hours are from 830am-430pm. You can earn  eligible course credit (must be pre-approved with your college or university). This is a paid internship, and the starting hourly wage will be $18 per hour.

Requirements 

Eligible applicants must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, emphasis in  Pre-Law, Law, Paralegal Studies (or Paralegal Certification program), Library Studies, Political Science,  Business or Public Affairs. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple  projects simultaneously; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Google platform; and a dedicated,  energetic work ethic are required for the position. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and organize paperwork and files 

• Retrieve and maintain documents to support claims or court-related matters • Participate in meetings as needed 

• Communicate with state agencies regarding claim statuses 

• Draft and manage claim-related correspondence 

• Conduct legal research and prepare reports 

• Ensure a high level of confidentiality in all tasks
