You will participate in the specification, coding, review, testing and maintenance of FC HBA drivers for Linux/ESX System for cutting-edge networking and networked-storage products. You will join our drivers team and develop and test Broadcom ECD's state-of-the art 64G FC/NVME HBA products. Specifically, you will be charged with:
- Expanding and enhancing automated driver test tool harness.
- Working closely with members of the ECD driver, firmware, applications and software test teams to drive complete customer solutions to general release.
- Participating in the specification, coding, review, testing and maintenance of FC HBA drivers for Linux/ESX Systems.
- Debugging and enhancing device drivers, libraries and SDKs for storage solutions using Broadcom interface cards.
- Working with firmware and hardware engineers to debug problems reported by OEMs and end users
- Writing and reviewing technical documents and user guides

- Storage and network protocol development in a Linux environment.
- Experience developing
- Excellent communication and documentation skills will enable you to articulate your test results to the team and our OEM clients. The ability to follow software development processes for designing, documenting, coding and bug tracking.

Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering and 5+ years related experience OR MS degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering and 3 + years related experience.
- C programming
- Knowledge of basic OS and networking concepts
- Bash scripting
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $130,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
