Preschool Director
Description: The Preschool Director is a full-time position (1 FTE)
Job Summary: The most qualified candidate will provide preschool aged (3-4 year old) students with appropriate learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. This person will lead and organize an appropriate early childhood program in an integrated setting, and supervise other preschool staff, child find services, and Universal Preschool services.
Qualifications: Applicant must hold, or be able to obtain, Director Qualified Status per Colorado Human Services Licensing or a bachelor's degree from an accredited university with an Early Childhood Endorsement, and be able to pass a CBI and FBI background check. Upon hire, the Preschool Director must complete Mandatory Reporter training and First Aid/CPR certification. Prior experience teaching young children and knowledge of early childhood disabilities and intervention are preferred.
Working Conditions:
Job functions will take place both in a heated classroom and outside for play.

Contract Terms: The Preschool Director is contracted on a 160 day schedule - August through May, four days per week - Monday-Thursday.
Salary: Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience. The base salary is $40,145. Full-time employees are eligible for a competitive health, dental, and vision insurance package, as well as PERA pension retirement plan and more.
