Job Description:
We are seeking a Product Engineer with experience in software development for Emissions and Fuel Economy testing. The ideal candidate will work on analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining automation software while collaborating with users and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automation software for Emissions and Fuel Economy testing
Gather and analyze user requirements to design effective software solutions
Develop, test, and document software to ensure functionality and efficiency
Integrate and evaluate third-party software and devices
Provide technical support for software users, including engineers, operators, and management
Perform software maintenance on PCs, operating systems, and databases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new features and troubleshoot software issues

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in software programming
Proficiency in C, C++, or C#
Experience working with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, etc.)
Experience developing software for Windows and/or UNIX operating systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Experience with Linux operating systems
Web-based programming experience using Java and React
Automotive industry experience
Familiarity with electrical and mechanical devices
