IHBT Therapist/Clinician

The IHBT Therapist will provide mental health counseling and therapeutic behavioral services to children, adolescents, and their families in the home, school, and community setting. The IHBT Therapist will work with a small caseload in order to engage the family and the child/youth in counseling and intervention services. The therapist will administer mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, implement interventions, and document services delivered. Treatment uses evidenced based approaches building on family strengths and focusing on resiliency. Support and guidance will be provided to the client as they successfully learn how to utilize healthier thinking patterns and positive coping skills. The therapist will offer techniques and supportive interventions specific to the challenge’s parents face and work with the family to improve positive communication and strengthen family dynamics. The IHBT program uses interventions from a variety of modalities, and staff receive extensive training in IHBT and Motivational Interviewing. This position involves a significant amount of travel to client homes and community settings, and is primarily work-from-home outside of client appointments.   

 

Minimum Qualifications 

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work/Counseling or related field, Master’s Degree Preferred. 

Child mental health experience preferred 

Must have strong documentation skills 

Ability to work effectively with families and treatment partners 

Current Licensure as an LSW/LPC/MFT in Ohio 

Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
