This announcement is to recruit a GS-XXXX-11/12 for USACE South Atlantic Division, Caribbean District, Regulatory Branch.
This position will report to the USACE San Juan, PR location.

Regulatory Specialist (Interdisciplinary), Duties: Independently evaluate, process, and manage all types of permit applications and regulatory requests (General Permits (GP), Letters of Permission (LOP), Standard Permits (SP), Jurisdictional Determinations (JD), pre-application requests, permit compliance etc.). Objectively and critically evaluate permit applications, including determining regulatory authority, identifying and quantifying regulated activities, identifying the appropriate permit instrument, assessing information needs, conducting the appropriate evaluations (National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Section 404(b) (1) of the Clean Water Act, National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) Endangered Species Act
(ESA), etc.
