Embedded Systems and Software/Firmware Engineering Intern at Clocky LLC - Remote

We’re currently designing new products for launch next year and are looking for a passionate Embedded Systems and Software/Firmware Engineering intern to join our team. If you’re excited about innovation, problem-solving, and bringing real-world products to life, we’d love to have you on board. Our interns work on meaningful projects that directly impact our products and customers.

 

What You’ll Do

Embedded Systems Development
- Design, develop, and test firmware for our electronic products.
- Work closely with microcontrollers and microprocessors to implement key functionalities.

Circuit Design and Prototyping
- Assist in designing electronic circuits and selecting optimal components.
- Use development kits to build and refine prototypes.

Software/Firmware Engineering
- Write efficient, reliable code in languages like C and C++.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions.

Hardware-Software Integration
- Collaborate with the hardware team to ensure seamless integration.
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues.

Innovation and Collaboration
- Bring fresh ideas to the table, contributing to the evolution of our products.
- Work within cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded applications.
  • Microcontrollers: Experience with platforms like Arduino, STM32, or similar.
  • Circuit Design: Basic understanding of electronic schematics and PCB layout.
  • Development Tools: Familiarity with development kits and debugging tools.
  • Communication Protocols: Knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, and other interfaces.
