Associate, Content & Virtual Event Strategy

The Associate, Content & Virtual Event Strategy is responsible for managing and executing virtual webinars and events for our private community and supporting public-facing virtual events for our online publication. This role involves building event schedules, securing speakers, managing logistics, creating promotional materials, overseeing attendance, and delivering post-event recaps.


Key Responsibilities

  • Event Scheduling and Management
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for all virtual events within the private community.
    • Identify trending and relevant topics for the community, sourcing and securing speakers and thought leaders.
    • Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, platform setup, and attendee management.
  • Promotional Content Development
    • Create engaging promotional materials, including social media posts, newsletters, and event invitations.
    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure all promotional assets align with the brand's visual identity.
  • Event Execution and Support
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for private community events, managing all aspects from start to finish.
    • Provide logistical and creative support for public-facing events, including assisting with speaker coordination and content preparation.
    • Oversee event attendance, manage participant communications, and ensure a smooth virtual experience.
  • Post-Event Analysis and Reporting
    • Conduct post-event analysis, including attendee feedback, engagement metrics, and performance insights.
    • Generate recap materials, including written summaries, presentation recordings, and key takeaways for both internal and external audiences.


 

Who We're Looking For

  • Recent graduates or individuals with 1-2 years of experience in content creation, event coordination, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with speakers and event partners.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to event planning and execution.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a collaborative mindset.

 

Desired Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, WordPress, Elementor, BuddyBoss, Monday.com, Slack, Canva, Mailchimp, and Beehiiv.
  • Experience with event content strategy, from promotion to live support and post-event engagement.
  • Experience with event management tools and virtual webinar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media management and audience engagement tactics.
