Orchard Alliance, a subsidiary of The Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination, is seeking a temporary part-time Accounting Audit Intern. We are a nonprofit financial stewardship ministry that provides churches, individuals, families, and other like-minded organizations with a wide range of products and services.
This position focuses on supporting the organization’s accounting audit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The role will also assist with preparing for the trust administration system transition from FIS Charlotte (SunGard) to Cheetah, as well as supporting our new partnership with auditors Capin Crouse LLP for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.

Primary Duties
- Assist in preparing audit workpapers related to assets, liabilities, loans, investments, trusts, fixed assets and other balances and activities.
- Assist in analytical procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Collaborate with accounting and audit team members to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
- Prepare accounting schedules related to June 30 year-end and system tasks, as assigned.
- Contribute to the improvement of audit processes and procedures through feedback and suggestions.
Here's What We’re Looking for:
- Analytical skills
- Familiarity with spreadsheets
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- A desire to gain practical exposure to nonprofit accounting
- Preferred - - Accounting student on a CPA career track
Timeline for this Internship
- Summer 2025, June 2 – August 15, 20-40 hours per week

- Summer housing provided for students of Simpson University, Crown College, or Toccoa Falls College
