Purchasing Intern

NORMA Group is seeking a Purchasing Intern to assist the Purchasing Department. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take the skills they learned in school and apply them to a professional setting.

Primary Responsibilities:
·        Vendor Management
·        Support Purchasing Systems and Processes
·        Learn company purchasing policies and procedures to support with internal and external audits
·        First level support for internal users and suppliers
·        Support manager reports

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
·        Current undergraduate college student pursuing major in related field
·        Proficient in Microsoft Office
·        Highly self-motivated and driven to exceed expectations
·        Ability to take initiative for responsibilities and challenges
·        High degree of accuracy in both written and verbal skills
·        Attention to detail is a must!
