💰Rate: $20/hour

Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge, gain hands-on experience, and make a real impact in the nonprofit sector? RELAC seeks a passionate, detail-oriented Part-Time Nonprofit Assistant to support our dynamic team. If you’re eager to learn, organized, and interested in nonprofit operations, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do:

✅ Administrative Support:

  • Keep things running smoothly with data entry, record management, and office organization
  • Assist with answering phone calls and responding to emails
  • Help maintain an efficient and well-organized workspace

✅ Event Planning & Outreach:

  • Support event logistics—from choosing venues to coordinating catering and managing registrations
  • Help promote events through marketing and outreach efforts
  • Be on-site at events, ensuring everything goes off without a hitch

✅ Member Engagement:

  • Assist in membership outreach and membership programs
  • Process membership fees and maintain records
  • Draft thank-you letters and impact reports

✅ Program Support:

  • Help develop program materials and presentations
  • Assist in participant recruitment and data collection for program success tracking
  • Gain experience in community outreach and engagement

What We’re Looking For:

🔹 Currently enrolled in a degree program
🔹 Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail
🔹 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
🔹 Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and open to learning new tools
🔹 A passion for nonprofits, community engagement, and making a difference
