Project Management Intern
Summary of Position
The Project Management Intern position will need to be an energetic, forward-thinking, creative individual with high ethical standards, appropriate professional image, sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong management focus. They will need to be an intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and retain good communication skills. This position requires a versatile individual who is results-oriented, able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, well-organized, self-directed and who is a team player.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Time approval for field workers.
• Set up contracts and make sure customers are in Vista.
• Create procedure book for Vista (Vista PM SOP).
• Set up new jobs in the company ERP System.
• Process new contracts or PO’s.
• Request change orders as needed.
• Create sub-jobs as needed and update spreadsheets.
• Register in, and set up, any new software systems for customer contracts, and coordinate access with accounting.
• Assist with operations projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Entry level position.
• Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.
Technical Skills
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
