Entry Level Civil Engineer /Intern

We have an immediate opening for an entry level civil engineer, with an entrepreneurial spirit to work on site development plans for residential and commercial projects.  Great potential for personal growth, future leadership role and possibility of ownership down the road.   Job responsibilities will be based on experience. 

Minimum Requirements:

1.        Any combination of civil engineering education and experience.  EIT a plus.

2.       Must possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License.

3.        Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD LDD.  Successful candidate must be able to use the program for site design; which includes roadway design, site layout, grading, storm drainage design, earthworks, road profiles, etc.

4.        Proficient with MS Office.

5.        Engineers must be willing to learn and be able to prepare cost estimates, drainage reports, SWPPP  and other project documents. 

6.        Knowledge in hydraulics, trigonometry and geometry a must.  Experience with hydrologic modeling preferred.

7.         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

8.        Able to work independently or in a team environment.

9.        Must be willing and able to do field work, and assist our survey crew as needed.
