The South Hunterdon Regional School District invites dynamic, visionary leaders to apply for the principal position at the South Hunterdon Regional High School. This vibrant and innovative learning community of approximately 300 students is located in beautiful Hunterdon County, New Jersey, on the NJ and PA border. The district comprises a newly renovated elementary school and a brand-new middle school.
About South Hunterdon Regional High School
Our district is in the process of completing a reconfiguration, which included the renovation of our elementary school with grades PreK-4, the building of a brand new middle school for grades 5-8 as well and the transition of our current high school from grades 7-12 to grades 9-12. We are known as a close-knit community where we have the privilege of getting to know every student, along with their family, by name. The average high school class size is 15-20 students. Graduating classes consist of 70 - 75 students, which is extremely unique and advantageous compared to other high schools in New Jersey.

The ideal candidate is an experienced educational leader who:
Has a minimum of three years of administrative experience.
Has a vision for a student experience in an innovative and forward-thinking high school.
Excels in communication, collaboration, and decision-making.
Possesses strong instructional and managerial expertise.
Demonstrates a deep commitment to equity and inclusion.
Holds a valid New Jersey Principal Certificate.
