Quality Control Technician

Description
The Quality Control Technician will ensure all systems that leave Semler Industries are fully functional and meet all quality requirements.
Accountable For:
- Conducting quality control testing on Semler’s electrical and hydrodynamic systems as required, ensuring compliance with QC protocols and collaborating with the Quality Lead for necessary adjustments.
- Inspecting and diagnosing returned components and systems from customers including warranty inspections and parts for possible repairs.
- Inspecting incoming items upon arrival to ensure they meet our drawings and quality standards.
- Occasionally performing on-site inspections or troubleshooting as needed.
- Providing light technical assistance to fabricators including mechanical assembly.
- Performing all job functions using safe practices.
Requirements
- Education / Work Experience: Extensive technical knowledge of electrical and hydrodynamic systems, with at least 1-3 years of related work experience.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice, throughout the United States and internationally if necessary. (0-10% travel)
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work required schedule.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing, bending, twisting, and kneeling, at times in very small and confined spaces.
- Lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. and occasional pushing and pulling of heavy objects.
- Ability to ride in a car or airplane for prolonged periods of time as needed.
