KUSBDC – Branding and Design Strategy Specialist
The Branding and Design Strategy Specialist will help KUSBDC clients align their branding and marketing strategies with their target markets to maximize reach and return on investment (ROI). This role, tailored for MFA Communication Design students, blends fine art principles with business strategy to provide clients with innovative solutions that enhance their brand identity and marketing effectiveness. The GA will conduct one-on-one sessions with clients, focusing on branding, web design, and creative marketing strategies typical of a professional agency. They will also mentor undergraduate interns on the team, fostering a collaborative environment and guiding them in areas like visual storytelling, branding, and digital design. This role includes developing educational content, such as workshops and resource guides, and producing high-quality deliverables for clients. Expertise in Adobe Suite and Canva is required, as is a strong understanding of branding and target market alignment. Candidates should have a passion for both design and education, emphasizing mentorship and client collaboration.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours per semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester. Please contact Rachael Wolfe for additional information if needed at rwolfe@kutztown.edu.
