Assistant Superintendent - Teaching & Learning

Essential Functions:
- Plans and implements professional development for the district and sites.
- Implements data-driven practices to impact student learning.
- Oversees and implements the K-12 curriculum review process.
- Oversees curriculum and instruction and all Tier I programs in MTSS.
- Coordinates and oversees the work of the instructional coaches.
- Oversees the Q-Comp plan and evaluation process.
- Serves as the district's literacy lead.
- Coordinates the district-wide assessment program.
- Oversees technology integration in the district.
- Works directly with the principals to implement policies and procedures.
- Keeps up to date with the latest educational research and best practices.
- Recommends board policy on all Teaching and Learning areas.
- Serves as Superintendent in the absence of the Superintendent.
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of service as an education administrator.
- Evidence of data-driven decision making.
- Evidence of successful implementation of district initiatives.
- Evidence of creating school/community partnerships.
- Superintendent license required.
Salary: $125,000-$150,000 commensurate with experience
