Microbiology Laboratory Intern

Description

• Perform data entry, scanning, and filing.
• Perform quality control microbiology testing such as growth promotion and water endotoxin.
• Perform routine tasks such as wrapping equipment and autoclaving.
• Perform lab maintenance activities such as cleaning benchtops, cleaning incubators and refrigerators, and biohazard waste disposal.
• Observe other lab activities with hands on practice, such as organism identifications, microbial limits testing, and water bioburden.
• Assist in other projects as needed.

Education

Preferred

Some college or better in Biology.

Some college or better in Microbiology.
