2025 Student Intern - Architecture
We have excellent summer opportunities for students who wish to gain hands-on experience in an architectural/engineering/interior design environment. Paid summer internships will be 10 - 12 weeks beginning on or before June 2, 2024 (some flexibility is available).
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Student Intern to join our Healthcare and Public|Corporate practice groups, working on a variety of projects throughout the country. The position requires excellent communication, time management and technical skills as you will work closely with Senior Project Architects and Project Managers developing non-routine and complex design concepts in a manner responsive to the client's needs and deadlines. The candidate will also have multiple opportunities for client interaction and will help our team maintain a commitment to design and quality for all types of projects.

In this role, you will:
- Accept specific assignments and develops concepts according to parameters defined by the senior architect overseeing project assignment.
- Assure execution of and assists with quality control activities for architectural elements on a project.
- Review drawings, documents and submittals for document compliance and documenting code review and compliance.
- Keep lead architect or designated team leader informed of progress; recognize problem issues and communicate impact to team, and seek clarity when necessary.
- Maintain, organize and archive all project related documents.
- Make an on-going effort to obtain IDP credits so that architectural registration will be achieved.
- Interact and communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
- Perform construction administration duties (e.g. RFI’s, RFP’s, change orders, etc.)
You will need to have:
- Bachelor of Architecture degree; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience on small- to large-scale projects preferred
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other graphic tools
- Pursuing Architectural registration
