Creative Services Intern
Summary
The Public Affairs intern will assist the video team as a junior editor and production assistant who is integral during filming and events where a audio visual set-up or photography is needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Ingest, organize, and sync footage after each shoot
- Assist in loading and unloading gear during events and shooting days (must have be able to lift at least 25lbs)
- Assist building camera rigs, organizing and maintaining production equipment
- Photograph team members at internal and external events
- Assist other members of the Public Affairs team with ongoing projects
- Assist with content creation
- Opportunities to shoot and edit projects based on growth and proficiency
Required Education and Experience
- A student in good standing and classified by their institution as a rising sophomore or higher studying digital media, journalism, film production, or a related field
- Able to commit to working at least 20 hours per week
- Able to commit to the intern position for a minimum of three months
- Follow security and safety policies and procedures in carrying out work duties
- Familiarity with Premier Pro, Davinci resolve, social media platforms, Adobe creative suites, Microsoft office suites and basic photography
- Familiarity with Cinema and mirrorless camera systems
- Basic understanding on film lighting
- A valid Driver’s License
