Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our startup team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in the food industry, particularly in restaurant settings. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared according to our standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Assist in menu planning and development with the Head Chef.
  • Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and sanitized.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
  • Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional food service.

Skills

  • Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of menu planning and catering services is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Proficient knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment.
