IT Operations Intern - Summer 2025
Missions
- Manage incidents and requests from end users
- Able to address level 1 (call management) level 2 (resolution with procedure) or level 3 (depending on skills)
- Renew PCs
- SLA for Infrastructure
- Monthly Support reporting from support Tool
- Standardized Solutions documented in Support Tool
Activities
Incident and request management:
- Collect end users incidents and requests
- Solve issues and answer requests
- Manage Level 1 support (solve issues using experience, procedures and trainings)
- Manage Level 2 support (problems not documented) and document solutions
- Reassign to the right person if necessary
- Answer user questions
- Deploy best practices
- Report on monthly basis
- Follow up cybersecurity rules
Hardware inventory management:
- Keep accurate inventory of IT assets (office, production hardware)
- Plan renewal of hardware & Replace obsolete equipment
- Reconfigure hardware equipment depending on users’ needs
Communication to users:
- Communicate to the users the IT assets’ rules of use and the local IT organization to support the assets
- Participate to awareness sessions with users (information security, IT tips…)
- Participate on Kaizen Teams / Continuous improvement Teams to implement new solutions on offices & shopfloor
- Configure network on office and shopfloor according to requirements
- Participate on the implementation of applications & solutions from PO Division or PO Group
- Implement new solutions that increase productivity.
Competences
- Server management: Files, Printers, DHCP, WEB and Production applications).
- Knowledge of server virtualization in VMWare (Vsphere, Vcenter) and Hyper V.
- Knowledge in backup applications like VEEAM & Exagrid
- Knowledge on CISCO Network infrastructure: Switch, Router, Access point, phones. Operating systems Cisco IOS.
- Network LAN, WAN, WIFI. Structural cabling.
- Management and configuration of SQL Databases.
- Knowledge on Electronic data interchange: EDI, electronic invoicing, etc.
- Install, configure and setup Windows 2010 PC & Laptops
- Management of Active Directory
- Install, configure and setup Windows Server 2022 and prior versions
- 1st Level Helpdesk Support for Plant & Central Team
- Programming on different applications
- Handhelds support and configuration
- Knowledge on thermal printing.
