Junior Interior Architectural Designer
Overview: Junior Interior Architectural Designer to use Revit and other related software in the drafting, design and material selection of commercial buildings and some residential projects under the supervision of a Registered Architect.

Job Description:
- Aiding in the design of commercial buildings, (Office spaces, Restaurants, Multi-family, Retail, Hospitality, Educational, Ecclesiastical), and single-family residential homes
- Helping the design team in material and finishes selections
- Creation of design boards to be presented to clients
- Architectural modeling in Revit to create floor plans, 3D models and ultimately complete plan sets for construction
- Opportunities to get involved in Charette meetings and collaborative Parti discussions
- Development of 3D rendered views of projects
- Working to be a collaborative team member in all phases of design
- Attending project site visits as well as in office meetings both with clients and other team members
Remote Work Description: The firm believes in providing its team members with a better work-life balance through remote work. While in-office trainings and team meetings will happen on a regular bases, the majority of the tasks asked of an individual will be conducted remotely. It is expected that tasks will be performed on company assigned equipment in a professional home-office setting. The selected individual will be expected to be responsive and fully dedicated to their work during the firm’s business hours of 8am to 6pm. An employee of the firm cannot be more than 1.5Hr drive distance from the firm’s office in Athens, Ga as project site meetings and in-office meetings will be necessary on a regular basis. Daily scheduled meetings will be held remotely via platforms such as “Microsoft Teams” where plans will be discussed, screen sharing will be expected and on camera video calls required without blurred backgrounds. An individual will be available via email, text, phone call or “Teams” during standard working hours. Our office will serve, as it does for all our employees, as a “check in, check out” hub, as well as a space for trainings, collaborative teamwork, and client meetings.

Organization, attention to details, as well as critical thinking and speed are important. Personal time management is a HIGHLY valued skill as individuals must be able to complete work by the given deadlines. Outstanding communication skills both written and oral are a must to thrive in our fully remote team. As this is an out of office position, self-discipline and self-motivation are key.

Qualification:
- Internship experience in the field is required
- Bachelor’s degree in design is required
- Revit experience required
- AutoCAD experience required
- Photoshop / Illustrator experience required
- Rendering experience required
- Remote work experience is a plus
- Driver’s license required
- US work authorization required
