Physical Therapist - Independent Contractor
At Feldcare Connects, we strive to give opportunities to the best and brightest physical therapists (PT), occupational therapists (OT), speech therapists (ST), and registered dietitians (RD). Since you’re a physical therapist, we are in need of your expertise to propel our mission of providing quality and skilled clinicians to patients in California. Our organization works with numerous Home Health Agencies (HHAs) who utilize our services for their patients once they are discharged to their homes for care.
Our Needs:
Because you will be anindependent contractor, you can take patients as your own schedules permits. Your workload is dependent upon volume in the area you choose to serve. Currently, we need clinicians in San Jose, San Francisco, Palo Alto and surrounding areas.
We will send you referrals. You can accept or deny at your discretion and make your own schedule. All we ask is that once you accept a patient you must follow-through with the visit and the plan of care (POC) unless you assign a PTA to complete the follow-up visits.

Job Description
• Remarkable knowledge of physical therapy principles, theories, methods in their application in a rehabilitation environment.
• Great skills in providing a variety of treatments.
• Profound ability to communicate effectively both written and oral.
• Exceptional ability to understand the role of therapy in the context of the patients age, needs and environment.
• Exceptional ability to prepare and maintain records with accuracy and discretion.
• Proven sound clinical reasoning in treating and planning, implementation and monitoring patient progress.
• Ability to recognize when patient protocols or treatment plans need modification to meet appropriate patient needs and report to the therapist.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages is a plus!
• Bilingual a plus!
• Physical Therapy license and registration by the state of Agency practice.
• Completion of a Physical Therapy curriculum approved by The American Physical Therapy Association, The council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, or The council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association
