Product Information Intern

Product Information Intern

Gain hands-on experience in product data management and digital merchandising while working closely with our sales and marketing teams. This internship is perfect for someone with strong research skills, attention to detail, and an interest in how product information drives sales and customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure Accuracy: Check and correct product data for selling purposes across our e-commerce platforms.
  • Improve Content: Review web content for top-selling and strategic products on Eisco/hBAR websites.
  • Organize & Optimize: Collect and maintain a library of product specifications and dimensions.
  • Enhance Product Listings: Identify and document accessory parts (e.g., stoppers for glassware, pipette tips).
  • Competitive Analysis: Build cross-reference lists comparing Eisco products to competitor and customer offerings.
  • Increase Sales Potential: Develop substitution and upsell strategies using cross-referenced product lists.

 

Your Impact

  • General science background with an understanding or experience using laboratory equipment (a plus).
  • Strong research skills with a keen eye for accuracy and data organization.
  • Copywriting or graphic design skills are a bonus but not required.

Timing and Flexibility

  • Duration: 30-40 hours/week, ~10-15 weeks
  • Location: On-site (can be during the school year, full-time in summer)
  • Compensation: $4,200
