We're looking for an enthusiastic IT Service Desk Intern to join our growing team and gain hands-on experience in providing technical support and assistance to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
As an IT Service Desk Intern, you will:
- Assist in responding to and resolving technical support tickets for end-users.
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolution.
- Set up and configure computer systems, software applications, and peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and software installations.
- Assist in onboarding new employees with their IT setup and training.
- Maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures and technical guides.
- Monitor and report on system performance, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Collaborate with senior IT team members to improve service delivery and resolve escalated issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of IT support experience (entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude encouraged to apply).
- Strong interest in IT support and customer service.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Experience with help desk software or ticketing systems is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, etc.).
- Certifications like CompTIA A+ , CCNA, Security+ are a bonus.

What is Required:
- Must be available to commute to our Pinellas Park location
- Monday-Friday available working hours 8:00-4:30 no weekends
- Pay rate $20.00 per hour
