GCNE Outside Operations

Overview

As an integral part of The Golf Club of New England, our Outside Staff serve as the first point of contact for members and guests arriving and departing from our stunning golf course. You will play an essential role in creating a positive, welcoming experience for all. Outside Staff are responsible for greeting members, ensuring the driving range is properly set up, and maintaining the golf car fleet, all while upholding our high standards of service.

Experience Required

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Basic knowledge of golf etiquette and course operations.
  • You can be trusted to maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary company and member information, except as expressly authorized by the senior leadership team.
  • You are comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly manner upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Have golf cars and motocaddys in place an hour before first tee time. Cars will be staged with proper amenities.
  • Set up and maintain the member and teaching sides of the driving range, keeping them stocked and ready for use.
  • Prepare a neat presentation of the podium and bag drop area.
  • Collaborate with the Golf Shop to manage course play and golf cart distribution.
  • Clean and store golf carts each evening, ensuring they are ready for the next day.
  • Maintain clean and organized golf club storage areas, including rental and demo clubs.
  • Assist in breaking down and tidying up the range at the end of the day.
  • Ability to efficiently multitask while ensuring a high level of service.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Maintains a professional standard at The Golf Club of New England to include but not limited to appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the club, verbal discussions and written correspondence.
  • Perform additional tasks within Golf Operations as needed.

 

Job Types:  Seasonal- Full-time, Seasonal- Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Supplemental Pay: Gratuities
