Student Laboratory Assistant

The Stead Family Department of Pediatrics is looking for a student to join our Medical Genetics team as a Student Laboratory Assistant!

The major duties are: 

  • general lab/equipment cleaning
  • slide cleaning and archiving
  • archiving suspensions
  • getting supplies from BioChem Stores; washing glassware
  • and picking up samples that can't be sent through the tube system.

By having a student perform these tasks, it frees up the techs to devote their time to working on clinical patient samples for quicker results.
