Human Resources Intern
HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN (REMOTE)
KCSA Strategic Communications is looking for a Human Resources Intern to support our Human Resources department. The Human Resources department oversees all personnel efforts, from sourcing, developing, and maintaining talent, to ensuring they have the proper training and support to be successful in their role. The KCSA Internship Program is constructed to help students or recent graduates develop their skills through formal training and continuous support.

Our HR intern will strengthen their employee relations skills, learn various strategies in sourcing top talent, and oversee internal projects that drive overall company success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with the CHRO & Director of Talent Acquisition in the onboarding process of new employees
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date employee records and files
- Gain exposure to active and passive recruitment by posting to job boards, sourcing candidates, and scheduling first round interviews
- Gain exposure to other areas of HR to include employee relations, employee engagement, HRIS, compliance etc.
- Assist with misc. and ad-hoc projects as needed
- Maintain and update relevant Excel and Word documents with the assistance of leadership
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, pay close attention to detail while completing tasks in a timely manner, be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, and above all, have a strong desire for a career in the Human Resources industry.
Compensation: $15/hour
