Concept Art Intern (Spring 2025)

Location: Remote

Timing:  This is a part-time internship, and hours are very flexible. Start date would be mid March with the internship wrapping up in mid May.

Are you a talented artist with a passion for game design? Castix is seeking a Game Art Intern to join our team and contribute to the creation of our exciting medieval fantasy game. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to showcase your artistic skills in the form of specialized projects focusing around creature

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your strengths in one or multiple art mediums, such as digital art, sketching, etc
• Collaborate with the game design team on planned art projects
• Work closely with other talented artists on the team to learn and enhance your artistic abilities
• Create compelling and visually appealing art assets that align with the game's overall vision

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in one or multiple art mediums, with a portfolio showcasing your skills
• Ability to work creatively and collaboratively within a team environment
• Passion for video games and a desire to contribute to the game development process
• Familiarity with digital art tools and software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality artwork

This is an unpaid internship, but it may be eligible for course credit. The internship is fully remote, and interns will need to use their own equipment. The duration of the internship is negotiable. Interns will be provided a manager/mentor from a senior staff member. The intern will have flexible hours and may need to communicate with staff members across various time zones.
