Intern - One Olmsted

Minimum Qualifications of Education and Experience

Provisional, part-time internship for 3 months - up to 10 hours per week.

Expected pay $14.00/ per hour.

Current high school student.
OR
Current student actively enrolled in a university or college pursuing a degree in a related field of study.
OR
Graduation from an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months.

Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary component of job/position. Individuals required to use County vehicles and equipment must have a valid driver’s license and be free of any major traffic violations for the last three (3) years.

Nature of Work

The One Olmsted internship supports and assists with projects, participates in events, and assists with preparation for presentations and curriculum for educational opportunities. Assists with creating surveys, collecting data, and complies requests. Assists with the MOVE community council. All work is performed under the direction of a supervisor with work assignments are designed to provide a meaningful training experience.

  • Assists with completing projects.
  • Participates in One Olmsted events.
  • Assists with the preparation for presentations and curriculum for educational opportunities.
  • Assists with creating surveys and collecting data.
  • Assists with the MOVE community council.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Knowledge of computers and applicable software applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively including written, oral and interpersonal communications.
  • Skill in the use of computers and technology.
  • Skill in organization.
  • Ability to complete basic writing assignments.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to work in diverse settings and with diverse communities.
