ABOUT THE DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP
Are you ready to dive into the fast-paced world of digital project management? Message Lab @ Orchestra is on the lookout for a dynamic intern to join our team for the summer and make an impact! This is your chance to be at the heart of exciting creative projects, where you'll play a key role in helping to drive our projects to success.
In this role, you'll team up with our project managers to track progress, communicate with teams and ensure everything stays on track and schedule. You’ll collaborate with the client experience team, gaining valuable insights into their work while learning our processes and tools inside and out.

Role duration: Our Summer 2025 Internship Program runs from early June to mid-August 2025.
Role hours: Interns must be able to work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, on a 10 a.m.-to-6 p.m. Eastern Time schedule. Please note that client needs may require flexibility with working hours (e.g., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Please do not apply if you cannot meet this requirement.
Role location: This role is based in either our New York, N.Y. or Washington, D.C. office on a hybrid basis, in-office at least 3 days per week.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
As an intern on our team, you will…
- Learn the basics of account, client and project-level documentation (i.e., client and internal briefs, meetings, project plans, task assignments, deliverables, scope and risk assessments) while working closely with members of the client experience team
- Support digital content project managers with daily tasks such as progress tracking, team communication and ensuring work is moving forward according to schedule
- Gain an understanding of standard digital project management processes and learn how to use various tools for project tracking and efficiency including Asana, Notion and Smartsheet
- Take notes in client meetings and distribute them as needed
- Help review deliverables before they go to clients for quality assurance
- Observe and learn from project managers the appropriate ways to communicate with clients in meetings and in written communication
- Learn typical timeframes (and team members) required to complete various deliverables
- Build knowledge of Message Lab at Orchestra’s services, products and capabilities
Qualifications:
- Must be a rising college senior (or junior), postgraduate student or non-student
- Proactive in pitching in, problem-solving and suggesting new ideas, with a detail-oriented approach
- Strong time management and organizational skills (i.e., completing assignments, meeting deadlines and meeting attendance)
- Capable of working with a team to meet group objectives
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with clients and colleagues
- Interest in project management, client services and account management along with a desire to work in a matrixed organization with multiple clients
- Excellent computer skills, including Google Suite products
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Salary: $18 per hour
