International and Catalogue Sales Support Specialist
GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The International and Catalogue Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our international sales initiatives and domestic catalog account support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to the international sales department and Steelcase selling partners, including managing correspondence, specifications, renderings, bids and scheduling tours/meetings and providing quick information turnaround.
- Engagement with international prospects, inquiries and Steelcase selling partners, etc.
- Lead international virtual showroom tours and sample coordination with customers as well as Steelcase representative selling partners.
- Process, track and distribute international sales leads to the appropriate dealer and level of representative in the countries where leads are originating.
- Create or develop relationships with international customers and dealers as well as catalogue teams to ensure business relationships with these companies are robust and communication is excellent.
- Manage product catalog updates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of product information to customers and sales teams.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and order status in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the preparation of sales reports and presentations for management and sales teams to track performance and identify trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in sales support operations to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Thrives in ambiguity and welcomes different situations with multiple stakeholders to find solutions and resolve.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
WORK EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support or a similar role, preferably in an international context and catalog sales support.
- Strong understanding of international shipping processes and export compliance regulations.
- Strong understanding of catalog uploading process needs such as images, content, etc.
- Experience with furniture is preferred but not required.
- Multilingual is preferred – Spanish a plus.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with international clients and internal teams.
- Ability to draw connection between multiple sources or “connect the dots.”
- Ability to work in a fast-paced seasonal environment.
- Comfortable with engaging clients via video conferencing and aiding in providing virtual/physical tours of our showroom.
- Ability to learn product line and become an expert recommending Smith System solutions.
