International Orientation Leader

Position Type: Federal Work Study Or Non Work Study
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Work with ISO staff on Orientation materials and activities (on and off-campus)
  • Serve as a positive representative of the Detroit Mercy while fostering a welcoming environment among its newest students.
  • Acquaint new students with campus services, building locations, and campus culture.
  • This includes taking them shopping for supplies.
  • Must be English proficient.
  • Attend April and August SLR trainings.
  • Must be available for off-campus excursions starting the weekend before PTV.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Be in good academic standing.
  • No major, current student conduct issues.
  • Must be currently enrolled at the university.

Anticipated Schedule: 

  • Spring Training and 25-26 Academic Year.
