Recreation Intern - Inclusion
The mission of Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation is to strengthen our community and serve residents through the acquisition, development, and management of high-quality, innovative parks and facilities for recreation, preservation, and programming.
The purpose of the internship is to further the student's understanding and exeprience in the field of parks and recreation, specifically in recreation.
The intern will report to the Inclusion Supervisor and will be mentored by Inclusion Instructors.
The intern will learn how to utilitze Activenet when scheduling staff. They will implement and create their own programs for the community. They will also learn the day to day tasks of the Inclusion Instructor role.
Qualifications:
Student in either a Bachelor's or Master's program in recreation, physical education, kinesiology, or related field.
American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Certification within 60 days of hire.
