Truss Admin

Roles and Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to the following.

  • Provide customer service (answer phone calls).
  • Create pick tickets and process invoices for all truss deliveries which includes taking payments into Falcon.
  • Update daily order spreadsheets.
  • Update daily deliveries.
  • Create purchase orders.
  • Receive all truss orders into falcon.  Receive MiTek plates into falcon when delivered on site.
  • Prepare deposit slips.
  • Monitor falcon/MiTek management projects.
  • Send lumber order/transfer requests to HWT.
  • Enter the inventory counts (monthly).
  • Order 42 skus and yard supplies – biweekly.
  • Enter driver checklist and put packet together for delivery (including scheduling police escorts).
  • Call customers and confirm delivery schedules.
  • Create new truss jobs in MiTek management.
  • Track and assign designers to new projects.
  • Create new clients in MiTek management.
  • Contact Ohana Freight & customers on shipping dates for trusses to Hilo.
  • Schedule all Hilo truss deliveries with YB sailings.
  • Coordinate safety reports.
  • Code and obtain approvals for all non-inventory invoices and submit to Accounts Payable.
  • Allocate all inventory freight invoices and submit to Accounts Payable.
  • Office supplies in coordination with human resources.
  • Scan documents into Docman for Truss and HWT.
  • Maintain truck safety and registration log.
