Job Description

The Technical Marketing Intern will work closely with the Technical Marketing Team and other internal groups to help shape the definition of KIOXIA’s next-generation Solid State Drives (SSDs) for a variety of target markets, including client, data center, and enterprise server and storage markets. The intern will learn about SSD technology and end-user applications. They will learn how to work with multi-national teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer specifications and identify updated product requirements for inclusion in SSD MRDs (Marketing Requirements Documents)
  • Compile individual SSD performance and power requirements and consolidate them into a unified set of product requirements
  • Review process for releasing technical documentation to customers and propose process improvements

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable scientific field
  • Interest in SSDs and storage-related technologies, including PCIe, NVMe, and NAND Flash memory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and public speaking capabilities
  • Ability to work well autonomously within diverse, multi-cultural teams
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
