Life Sciences Fellow (Paid)
The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), a Washington, DC-based think tank, is seeking a policy fellow to conduct research on life-sciences innovation policy issues during the summer of 2025, starting on or after May 1, 2025. The ideal applicant should have a demonstrated interest in life-sciences innovation, as well as exceptional research, writing, and organizational abilities. Students with a strong interest in these issues are especially encouraged to apply. The position is available on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours a week. Ideally, the applicant will be located in Washington, DC.
Essential responsibilities:
- Support the Center for Life Sciences Innovation in its activities.
- Conduct research on topics related to biopharmaceutical innovation.
- Write or help draft policy articles, blogs, and op-eds.
- Provide research support (e.g., writing literature reviews, etc.).
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate or graduate student in public policy, public health, life sciences, economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in life sciences, innovation, and public policy.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Highly proactive and flexible, able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
